Girls In Aviation day!

Through Veronica Nkunde our aviation youth, gender and mentorship leader, the AOOA attended an event at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport which was held on Saturday (09/10/2021) organised by the “Women in Aviation Zambia Chapter”, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing networking, education, mentoring and scholarship opportunities for women in aviation and aerospace.

The AOOA is enthusiastic about networking with any such platforms that promote equal opportunities for all to participate in a wide range of economic activities in the aviation sector. We applauded this initiative and we are proud to have supported it in our modest way with a donation of a K1,000 towards the event. We wish them every success.
