Cooperation with ZACL

The AOOA has a close working relationship with ZACL through which it is addressing a number of issues of mutual concern, among which the following items were presented to the ZACL Stakeholders’ Forum Meeting held on 11/03/2020 at Hotel Intercontinental, Lusaka.

Despite the extremely short notice of this meeting, we were ably represented by Committee Members Bonner Chimba and Edmund Farmer who delivered the following brief AOOA presentation summary :

  • The AOOA: we have an active Executive Committee and a growing membership of Zambians and loyal supporters of Zambia representing the interests of the aviation industry as a whole in the Nation; we are a Full Member of ZACCI and an aspiring Member of TCZ; we work closely with the ZCAA and ZACL in support of development of Zambia’s aviation industry which has a long and proud history of excellence;

  • Recognition of ZACL progress and achievements : including KKIA and other Zambian Airports’ development throughout Zambia, installation of Radar, development of facilities and services, etc.;

  • A Discussion Forum has already been established between ZACL and AOOA with many issues on our agenda, including :
