EASA ASSP II update

Industry regulators, safety managers, quality managers, auditors and others with responsibility to implement SMS and QMS recently participated in a series of webinar workshop activities organised by EASA during September. These formed part of the targeted capacity enhancement initiatives to enhance the knowledge of the Zambian Aviation Sector and strengthen implementation of international civil aviation standards. 

Expertly presented by industry specialist (Safety, Quality and Human Factors), Alberto Gonzalez, and drawing on best practices developed by industry and authorities, the sessions were strong with both theoretical foundation and practical examples, provided to be used in the actual work environment. 

Despite the challenges of 'e-platform', the presentations were professionally-delivered and highly informative with a consistent level of delegate commitment and interest throughout the series.
