AOOA Aviation Mentorship Program

The Aircraft Owners and Operators Association, under it's Youth Outreach division, is developing an Aviation Mentorship Program. The goal of the program is to bridge the knowledge and experience gap between youth and industry veterans.

As a mentee, you would be paired with a suitable mentor identified by the Program (in coordination with yourself) who has the passion, drive and aptitude to help you develop a career in aviation. It would be up to the mentee to initially discuss his/her aviation career aspirations with the mentor, opening a dialogue and communicating expectations to them. The mentor will be able to understand what the mentee is striving for and appropriate guidance towards achieving his/her aspirations will be given.

We believe that this program provides an opportunity for us to give back to the community by encouraging aspiring pilots, engineers and aviation professionals to pursue their ambitions, and contribute to the continuity and development of aviation in Zambia.
